Girls step away from the Bible and just keep things simple!

In the meantime, take a look at this week's guide for the Rectangle shape, or H frame.
The rectangle shape is straight like a boy but with bust and hips similar size and an undefined waistline. You have minimal curves so the aim is to create the illusion of feminine shape and curves. Your rectangle shaped is similar to Cameron Diaz, Kate Hudson, Victoria Beckham and Kate Moss.
Dos
- Opt for soft feminine fabrics such as jersey rather than stiff fabrics
- Give the illusion of curves and wear flowing tops and feminine dresses
- Choose A line, rouched or pleated skirts - again our goal is to create the illusion of feminine shape and classy curves
- Wear dresses that wrap around the waist in a soft fabric
- Round neck tops and shirts to not only elongate neck but give curve to blocky and square shoulders
Don’t Wear
- Clingy fabrics, fitted clothes that only draw attention to your boyish shape
- Jackets that stop at the waist as they draw attention to lack of definition - rather go for empire line or long knee lenght dress coats
- Straight line skirts only highlight a chunky shape
- Horizontal lines that are worn tucked into skirts or pants ,you'll look bulky
Remember to also refer to our other CHIC in the City Style Tips and don't be afraid to select tips from each to discover your own unique body shape.
