CHIC in the City, launches Sydney’s most whimsical and charming shopping tour: The Vintage Express.
The Vintage Express takes you on a jaunt of the best of Sydney’s vintage & retro shopping haunts. It will be held on first Saturday of every month starting on Saturday 5 December.
TOUR INCLUDES: Vintage Personal Stylist Guru, chauffeur, VIP discounts, champagne, and gift bag
WHEN: First Saturday of every month. Starting on Saturday 5 December.
DURATION: three hours from 10.15 – 1.15pm
COST: $185 per person. Minimum 4 and Maximum 7 per tour.

MORE INFORMATION: The tour includes a mix of the most wonderfully eclectic boutiques with high-end vintage fashion, designer and retro clothing.
Expect to enter into an indulgent era of gorgeous handmade chiffon and silk dresses from 1930s to the 1960s including tea dresses and party frocks. Discover reworked and reconstructed vintage clothing as well as kitsch jewellery and one off collectables.
Guests will rummage across the best of Sydney’s vintage boutiques cherry picked by vintage clothing aficionado, Vera.
From an early age Vera, was fuelled by a passion of a bygone era and was obsessed with dress-ups, op and vintage shopping. She has a background in modelling, where she learned about styling from the best, and studies design & fashion.
“The trick to wearing vintage is to give it a modern twist. Invest now in the 80’s and in 10 years time your jump suits and sequin tops will be worth a lot more!” says Vera.
During the tour, Vera frocked in her vintage finery, will share pearls of wisdom on vintage buying. She will also offer tips and tricks on buying, styling and wearing your vintage finds.
